Masjid Al Farooq (MAF) on the south side of Chicago has an active Green Team led by Sr. Djeneba Diakite. On May 24, the MAF Green Team organized a gardening workshop for kids facilitated by our gardening expert and Sisters of Islam leader Sr. Maria Zaragoza. The workshop was a success, Alhamdulillah. The children showed their great enthusiasm for learning about gardening.
