On August 11, 2018, the launching of CMGT was first held at the Sisters of Islam’s Potluck Picnic along with the DIY (Do It Yourself) Green Cleaner Workshop. CMGT received great support and sponsorship from the Chicago Conservation Corps and the Sisters of Islam community.
