Our Green Ramadan program is aimed to spread eco-friendly lifestyle in celebrating our religious holidays based on Islamic principles, i.e., to live in balance, to reduce waste, to avoid being excessive or extravagant, to stop corruption on the Earth, and to improve our appreciation towards environment and natural resources.
Our Green Mosque program is created to start the trend of building eco-friendly mosques and Islamic centers in Chicago area by encouraging our community to save water, save energy, reduce waste, to support the local and federal goals in achieving a 100% clean energy, to support food resiliency program by participating in community gardening.

Our Capacity Building program provides education and trainings for members of our community, particularly youths and women to build their confidence and skills in multiple fields related to environmental justice, leadership, and management. We also would like to provide scholarships for members of our community to attend seminars, conferences, and trainings organized by other organizations or institutions.
